"We stayed the night fire my husband’s graduation. I picked this hotel as the pictures were stunning and it did not disappoint! The room was large and beautifully decorated, the bed was huge and comfortable. We were in the very top of the hotel in room 12 with the low door to enter and we loved it. We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and couldn’t fault it. We were up and out early the next day but had time for a quick cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. "Stayed with my husband for an event locally, so one of the nearest hotels to Madeley. Pretty pub which gets quite busy. We stayed in a fab room at the front overlooking the road. We didn't hear any noise though. Quite a large room with tea making facilities/biscuits. Good bed size probably, king, not as comfy as some I've stayed in but ok. Good sized bathroom with separate shower. The pub serves food and we ordered bbq ribs, they did state as we'd not booked a table we would have to eat...

"The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! "

"Travelled from Yorkshire en route to the New Forest, stayed one night. We had a comfortable nights stay, an amazing evening meal & a fantastic breakfast! We would love to return. "Had a one night stop over stay here, the accommodation was spotless and the bed was super comfy. Spent the evening in the pub, which is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We didn't have a meal but did order a cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly, warm and inviting and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. "Location wise the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town and has its own car park. The car park is tight to navigate, however any vaguely competent driver will be able to cope with it. The hotel certainly is in need of some sprucing up, the decor and furniture (with the exception of the bed) look like they've been there since the 80s or 90s. There were shoddy repair jobs on the bath/shower with excessive sealant bunged on, and the laminate on the bathroom mirror frame had mostly...

"We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "

"Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect."
