"Best last minute choice we made! Flew in for a convention at RAI and wanted to stay away from the city. It was a perfect 25 minute drive with beautiful scenery as well as so peaceful. The vacation rental was amazing! We have been using VRBO for years and this rental was in the Top 5! It was brand new, on a canal, overlooking the water. Everything you need is close by. Groceries, restaurants, etc. Thank you for sharing your place with us."

"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"Location was great. Chalet was well equipped with comfortable living space. Relaxing and chilled resort. Beds did not match the rest of the decor. They were low quality and not comfortable. Also the checkout regime of stripping the beds was a bit backpacker esque. Considering otherwise a quality resort. Last point, dog owners. Contrary to online description there are very few places within walking distance to walk a dog. Except along the road."

"Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity."

"We enjoyed our stay, found the property clean and loved being on the canal. That being said I must have missed that we would carry linens from the office to make our own beds. We arrived after traveling all day tired and didn’t realize we would need to do this as well. There are NO extras not a pen & paper, paper towel , coffee for your first day until you can get to the grocery. Nothing. "We stayed in the Haystack house which was compact and wonderful for our family. We enjoyed the countryside setting with chickens, fresh eggs, a tour of the windmill on the property, and the boats sailing on the Rhine outside our place. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place as a wonderful Dutch experience."
