Sunflower Suite at The Wanderer

Welcome to the Sunflower Suite at The Wanderer Guesthouse. The Sunflower Suite is one of six unique private suites. This suite has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms with a private deck. In the evening, unwind at either of the two outdoor firepit areas on the property. Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we're 5 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and 10 minutes to downtown Boone. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, we're a launching point for your adventures. The Sunflower Suite has three queen bedrooms, a full kitchen, living space, a bathroom, and the best of all: a private deck off the main bedroom. You can hear the sound of the stream right on the property. PLEASE NOTE: To access Sunflower Suite, you must go down one flight of stairs. Your suite is private and set apart from the other suites (one floor above you), but you’ll also have access to two different community firepits and picnic area to the left of the parking lot.

Such a cute place to stay and they thought of everything

I stayed there with 2 other friends for a girls trip. It is such a cute place. The decor is modern and stylish. All of us said that the beds were so comfortable. It is convenient to both Boone and blowing rock. I would definitely recommend it and we have already said we will stay here again for our next girls trip.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay it was very clean. Convenient to everything we were looking to do. There were a couple issues that we had to speak with the property manager. She was very nice and answered right away.

Overnight retreat

Our family were in town for our daughter’s early morning graduation. We just needed an I expensive place that would accommodate the entire family. The Sunflower Suite was perfect retreat for the one night. Well-appointed and comfortable. Kinda wish we could have stayed longer.

Mountain Getaway

My family (me, my wife, and my 1-year-old) made a weekend trip here. Location was very convenient, being so close to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The unit was updated and very clean. Plenty of room spread out for us three. Nice touches by the host throughout. The outside area wasn't the best for our 1-year-old due to the slope of the land, but not a big deal! Enjoyed our stay
