"We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. "We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a cabin for our stay and it was amazing. I highly recommend you book one if you are able to. It was the largest room we had on our trip and it was nice to get to spread out a bit. They also offer a call if the Northern Lights are visible, just make sure the ringer is turned up on the phone in the room. Ours was turned off so we missed the call they made. "
