The restaurant served a unique menu with an excellent staff, sommelier, and extensive wine list, and very good value. "Quaint hotel with a lot of history. This family owned hotel is charming and the 6th generation runs and staffs it. It has a lot of character and the apartment was roomy and comfortable."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this great hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided us with local tourism information. The rooms were comfortable with sounds of the nearby mountian waterfall. The balcony had two chairs to enjoy the fresh air (when other guests weren't smoking). Our breakfast was amazing with many choices of fresh offerings and great coffee. Overall, it was a calm and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning someday."
