"We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!"

"The weather was lovely always helps, the cottage was in a great position for the dogs with the Sandilands walk to sea meaning we were only 10 mins away from the sea front. The cottage had everything needed, the conservatory was the best!"

"A lovely house which was perfect for our short family break. The house is completed to a high spec and the garden is very well maintained. The bar area is a bonus and a really nice area for socialising. Location was good to go to beaches and other local areas. Most things are within a 10-15 minute drive. Kids and grandparents really enjoyed the stay."

"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. Locks to back door broken- no keys to the other back and side door. Mouse trap and fresh droppings under the sink. No PAT testing of...

"This is a delightful cottage, with a cosy sitting-room and then much larger than expected and extremely well-equipped kitchen/diner at the back. We didn’t have sitting out weather, but there is a small secluded garden at the back which would be lovely in summer - better than it appears on the Vrbo photos. Despite being on a road called High Street it is very quiet. A bonus is the well above-average quality selection of books and DVDs available."

"Located in a quiet cul-de-sac this cottage is the perfect location to explore the surrounding villages and coastline. The garden is very spacious and was perfect for our dog. Overall standard of the house is very good but it does need a little bit of TLC to bring it up to excellent. Just a few minutes walk from the village centre where there are a good selection of shops and places to eat. Only criticism is that the volume on the TV has been pre set making it difficult to hear some programmes...

"We had a fantastic stay at Carpenters cottage in Heacham. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with a generous welcome basket provided by the host. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We had two lovely meals at the Rose and Crown in Snettisham (a short 6 minute drive) and at The West Norfolk within walking distance. The host couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful cottage."

"The accommodation is light, airy, modern and just right for a sea-side stay. Everything is really clean - it's immaculate. There's everything you could need whether for cooking, games, watching TV (in both bedrooms as well as lounge area), plenty of storage space, lovely bathroom (with a large shower that you can move about in!), comfy beds. "Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop. It was dog friendly and our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the stay, lots of beautiful walks around the site, people to meet and it’s less than 20 mins to Skegness for the beach.
