"We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area. "

"We arrived Friday night around 11:30pm. There is a bar next door and we heard the thumping music rhythm until very late evening. There were a lot of sketchy looking people milling around. We had to park in the parking garage about 1/2 block away from the hotel. It was a bit frightening. The hotel is pristine! Beautiful and comfortable room. The lobby is gorgeous. My only complaint was the loud music and sketchy people around. Saturday morning was a totally different scene with families at the farmers market and a downtown museum. The area was actually really nice."

"Staff was very helpful. I was traveling overnight from Alaska and arriving in VA in the morning. Since they weren’t at full capacity, they gave me a room at 11:00 so I could shower and change to attend a Celebration of Life for a dear friend. So much appreciated! Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast! And an airport shuttle!"

"Sheets were stained dirty and it appeared the hallways had not been vaccumed in awhile. We also had to ask for more towels because we were provided with 1. Not the worst but not the best. Outside appearances needs a little help pulling weeds goes a long way in making the first impression better."
