Farmstay in Bouches-du-Rhône

"The property is a delightful traditional Provencal farmhouse but with all mod cons such as a dishwasher and very efficient air con. It has lovely gardens around the pool and outdoor eating space and is surrounded by green fields so that you feel you are in the countryside despite being a short drive into Arles and a 20 minute walk to a boulangerie. We were made to feel very welcome by Pascale's parents who live in the adjacent property and both they and Pascale could not have been more helpful...

"Le mas est très bien placé et le terrain est très grand. On peut garer beaucoup de voitures. A l'intérieur, on trouve tout le mobilier dont on peut avoir besoin ; la vaisselle s'y trouve en grande quantité. Dommage que les chambres soient très chaudes (en tout cas en période de canicule). Les propriétaires sont compréhensifs et arrangeants."

"The house is newly done, including the bathrooms so feels very clean. The furnishing however is tacky and not comfortable. But, the beds are all uncomfortable & creeky. Impossible to move without making noise. The pillows very uncomfortable. The sofas & chairs, except the indoor dining table, are very uncomfortable also. There is a lack of glasses & mugs. The crockery is not great either. Very basic cooking equipment, pots & pans only suitable for large numbers of people. The road at...

"We absolutely loved out stay. The home was verry spacious, clean and had all the conveniences of a home. The kitchen was well equipped. Bedding clean and comfotable. Great location. Home host very helpful and acxomodating. Highly recommend."

"Came here with family to explore the area. House was great. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids. Beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed for the visit. Outdoor seating and eating. Village is very close and the market is great!! The best was the pool. Kids had a great time. Well maintained home. Would rent here again and again."

"The house is situated very close to St. Remy de Provence. Is not walking distance but about a 5 minute car ride which is real simple. The house is in a very peaceful area surrounded by farmlands. The house itself is very nice and has all the accommodations you'll need. It even has a working fireplace and all the appliances you'll ever need. The owner Mikl is very nice and is easy to work with. He will make sure you have a nice stay."

"The apartment was as described, in terms of size, the number of rooms and the arrangement. There was a full set of kitchen dishes, flatware, pots and pans, but no dish detergent, paper goods. Extra towels for the pool were not provided. Apartment was quite clean, everything worked, the pool was great. Parking space for our apartment was too small and difficult to park in beuuase of the angle and incline. Location was fine, plenty of restaurants in the two nearby towns. Front gate easy to use....

"Gite great! Great ranch, countryside and near lovely Arles. However, we didn't drive and nearest shop was almost a 2 hour walk, which we had been led to believe was a short walk. If you have a car, cannot fault, otherwise be prepared to worry about food."

"We had a lovely 9 night stay with M. Claude at his delightful Gite. It has every amenity and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy. The location is ideal to explore the local town and wider area. We arrived very late at night due to our flight being delayed and M. Claude stayed up to welcome us! Highly recommended."

"Nous avons passé le mois de juillet dans cette maison, 5 adultes et 2 enfants, et tous, avons adoré ! Parfaitement conçue avec chacun sa chambre et salle de bain, cette maison nous a permis d'être ensemble sans se gêner. Les parties communes sont spacieuses, la cuisine très bien équipée. Grande piscine, terrain de boules, jeux pour les enfants, tout est là pour profiter en famille. Idéalement située pour visiter les environs. Les propriétaires sont charmants, on a vraiment envie d'y retourner...

"This trip was truly heavenly. We came to celebrate my husband and my 50th wedding anniversary with the family and the first thing that was given to us was a huge bouquet of flowers from the host family. The house is stocked with a beautiful kitchen. We made several meals there. The outside is stunning with the pool where our grandkids swam in everyday while we sat and drank wine on the patio chairs. The bedrooms are large and comfy. The dining room was lovely since we like to do jigsaw puzzles....
