"The staff was most excellent to me each and every time I returned to the hotel, no sooner than I approached the front desk no more than 3-5 feet in the house, did either doorman, lobby attendant, front desk staff or management cordially, but consistently without fail, never a miss of the warm welcome back to the lodge, than to hear 'Welcome Back'. Regardless of time of night, mid-day, wee hours of way too early in the morning straggling back weary from one last ditch attempt at the watering hole of the den of eniquity, as it were; most often out and back in again after paying too much money to disrobe, take a lap, rewrap recompose myself and head for the door for launguishing up and down the hall of bare footed yuck just gave me 'the ole walkin' blues; and returned to a solemn look of sadness 'for me' but instead the ever warm glow of 'Welcome Back. Well it just made me sing the theme to Welcome Back Kotter each and every time I rode the elevator home. And was dutifully reminded, I do have dreams yet to dream again. And I haven't even reached for one. So to the staff of Washington Plaza Homestead, a great big thanks for the bottom of my heart in the most sincere and thankfulness to "

"A little pricey but very nice and clean. It was also quiet. I didn’t hear doors slamming, people talk in hallway or noise between the rooms. They have a clock on nightstand that includes a wireless charger for cellphones. Very handy. The tv remote was a bit tricky. You have to depress each selection button twice to activate."
