Lovely large and clean room witb a super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Hideaway. This is a true Bed & Breakfast. Our bed was comfortable and our private bath had been nicely modernized with helpful shelves and racks. The bedroom itself was a bit tight, but we had small roller bags so we were able to situate everything - would have been...

Beautifully kept and spacious rooms. Owners were very pleasant and communication was top notch. Highly recommend and will make sure to stay here the next time we are in Bowness.

Super clean. Only one block from town center and lake, on side street. Wonderful hosts. We will return.

Glenn and Susann were lovely hosts who showed us great hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was skillfully cooked to order, full of options and served with great attention. We enjoyed our stay at Storrs Gate House during our time in the Lake District.

The LInthwaite House Hotel is absolutely marvelous--in every way. The location overlooking Lake Windermere is perfect--amazing views, feels like a million miles from the tourist chaos below, yet extremely handy to everything is one wanted to pop to a local pub or explore. The manor house is absolutely beautiful, in superb condition, with many inviting public spaces--not the least being a marvelous atrium room overlooking the panorama below. The property and staff are great. The area is a good place to. Visit to relax and enjoy food and beverage. There was any a lot to do in the Lake District other than that.

excellent hotel, well presented, great location, good staff

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The owners are wonderful people and help you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but was very happy with the apartment we had. Very updated and spacious. Great location, easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the lake.

Beautiful property with breathtaking lake views. Walkable into town with great food/bars and shopping!

Give yourself some time to look around the property. It's both charming and interesting.
