My expectations were pretty low, all I wanted was a hot drink, a wash and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were no drink-making facilities, no towels, no pillows on the bed and only a dirty bar of soap with a previous guests whiskers stuck into it. I tried to use the room phone to contact reception but there were no instructions on how to...

"Our room was clean and had the amenities we needed. Food - whether breakfast or for dinner - was very good and reasonably priced. Parking was very easy and free. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. Couldn't ask for any more really. "
