Very friendly check in and felt safe. No window blinds, let moonlight in.

Overall, it was a clean well maintained hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just perfect and worth the cost. If your room is ready to check in early - you need to pay a few bucks per hour. The shuttle ride to the airport/hotel is on the hourly schedule.

I wanted to share my experience at the wonderful Afrique Boutique Hotel we stayed at during the recent electricity outages. The room had a partial view of a beautiful garden where birds would come to feed and hearing them sing made our stay even more peaceful. The decor was exceptional- exquisite paintings adorned the bedrooms, lounges and restaurant, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Breakfast was always freshly prepared, beautifully presented and offered a large variety to choose...

It is right in Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. So convenient. Clean and very comfortable. Very good & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Hard to find fault with this hotel

As a woman traveling alone my top priority is always safety. This was my first trip to South Africa and i was a bit nervous. Arthur promptly picked me up from the airport and I felt safe. I just needed a place to get a hot shower, some good sleep, and a hot meal. It was a quick overnight stop for me in between flights. I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend, especially if you are a solo traveler with safety concerns.

This is a very nice hotel. Our travel itinerary had us flying into the Johannesburg airport late afternoon and flying out the next day, so we booked this because it looked close to the airport. It is actually attached to the airport, above the parking lot, with a fully enclosed walkway from baggage claim to the hotel. (Grab a luggage cart, it is a long walk.) The hotel is surprisingly nice! Large room. Big shower. Queen bed. Good A/C. Nice restaurant. (Had big salad and pizza, things we...

Close to OR Tambo Airport, still no noise from planes. Friendly Staff and good service. Recommended you to Absolut Tours&Safaris.

Never expected such nkce place tstay. Good restaurents nearby. Their manager Ms Connie was such a wonderful person to make you feel home. Thank you Connie. You are just great wit your warmth

I stayed At the Metcourt on an overnight layover. The hotel is close to the airport and offers airport shuttle service every 20 minutes. Better than the "airport" hotels, hotels at the Emporor's Palace have access to dozens of eateries, shopping, and the casino. The hotel shuttle stops behind the Intercontinental Hotel at O. R. Tambo and drops you in front of the hotel. Luggage was taken care of and the shuttle driver and porters are extremely courteous. Check-in was quick, friendly, and...

We stayed for 1 night before getting picked up for a safari. Convenient airport shuttle (pickup from Intercontinental hotel) - nice bar and breakfast buffet.

So wonderful! Peaceful! Such beautiful surrounding gardens, gorgeous pool! I loved everyone of staff. Their restaurant has the BEST chefs! We stepped out of our spacious, modern, beautifully decorated room after a free shuttle ride whose driver met us inside the airport! A comfortable 15 minute ride from the airport! After unpacking and stepping out of our room seeing the romantically lit pool we see an open fire in the fireplace outdoors. Had a pre dinner cocktail then stepped into the small...

I was initially sceptical after reading some obviously pretty judgemental reviews. It's an airport hotel, it's not a resort and as such it does really well. It's clean and safe and has anything and everything a traveling person would need.

Safari Club was a wonderful experience for me! I traveled alone to Johannesburg and the staff were so kind and helpful! They made arrangements to pick me up from the airport and for a driver to show me around the city the next day! I would highly recommend!
