"We only stayed for one night but it was brilliant. The cupcakes, milk and eggs left for us were a really lovely touch. My granddaughter was so sad to leave that we will bring the whole family next summer."

"Staff are very friendly and professional, met on day of arrival and given a quick tour of where breakfast is served and a guest seating lounge with an honesty bar. Room was replenished every day and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. (Only the odd cobweb in the ceiling, but it is the country side) Breakfast is ordered night before, so that breakfast can be served freshly cooked ready for time you say your coming down for Breakfast and the breakfast was excellent every time. (Compliments to the cook). Accommodation, barn conversion with high ceilings and wooden beams showing. Hidden entrance to property/land, which is difficult to find at night, but is situated in a nice quiet secluded area. Only downside your not able to roam the area outside, but will visit again as within driving distance to many activities and 15 minutes from sea. Thank you to the staff for making our stay comfortable."

"We needed a quiet and peaceful break away with my parents. Mum is caring 100% of the time for Dad as his mobility is not as great as it used to be and both needed the escape from the same four walls and a bit of pampering. We found the Lord Derby Cottage, and thought it looked perfect. When we arrived it was just what they both needed. The whole cottage was laid out with enough room for the walker to move around, and twin beds for them as they could get a good night’s sleep with out disturbing the other one. The kitchen was perfect to cook in, most equipment was provided where we made a couple of nights of homemade meals for them to enjoy and save Mum from slaving away in the kitchen.We enjoyed the onsite pool, it was a really good size, did a few lengths and then decided to go straight from there into the cottages hot tub. Mum even joined us, Dad sat outside on the bench provided and caught a few rays of sunshine too. That was great fun, and very relaxing.There is a games room with pool table and videos galore, a games console too.There is peace and quiet there. Nick, our host was a lovely chap and available if there were any issues. Our parents enjoyed their stay very much, I can see them coming back again, with maybe their friends, I know they have recommended the accommodation already to a few of them. The site is suitable for all ages, it has a play ground for little ones and 5 shepherd huts to rent too. Lovely lovely place."

"This property was wonderful, peaceful and exactly what my sister and I needed! Everything we needed was there. Space for us to sleep separately with the use of the day bed. Comms with the host was just enough. Scenery was wonderful complemented by the fantastic weather. Walks were stunning. I couldn’t have asked for a better location and accommodation. Would most definitely recommend and will absolutely stay again! You hit the nail on the head with this one!!! Thank you"

"The property had everything we needed for our break. Warm and comfortable and the hot tub was perfect! Great location for visiting Suffolk, we visited Southwold, Aldeburgh and the town of Halesworth which has plenty of cafes and pubs. Would definitely recommend."
