This is the Holiday Express at The Little River Railroad, in Coldwater MI. It has daily train rides as well as special occasion and holiday rides. They have a Christmas ride with Santa on board and a Halloween haunted ride that includes a pumpkin to name a couple. The ride we took was complete with a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Clause, it was a lot of fun and the kids loved it! "Older house fixed up decent; reasonably comfortable, and well stocked with misc needs and kitchen extras.Responsive communication with owner.Owner obviously cares about making a nice rental property for a reasonable price.Neighborhood decent, with single exception of the neighbors across the street. No drama or anything, but not a good property to look at and they let one of their many cars alarm go off all night for one of our 2 nights there. Probably not a recurring thing. "

"We stayed in early April and were greeted with an array of wildlife the Duck's and Geese were all over the lake as well as two beautiful swan's, we also saw a heron and a beaver near the dock. It was a great getaway and we look forward to staying again!"

"Heron's Perch was a great spot for our family reunion. Such a cute, little cottage with something for everyone-games, kayaks, fishing, beautiful sunsets, etc., not to mention close by options in Shipshewana and Middlebury. The owners, who have a seasonal home next door, were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! "
