"If you are looking for a quiet and out of the way place to stay then this is definitely it! Part of the old farm house I guess, the cottage is very well appointed even to an air fryer. There is also a lovely garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, hopefully longer next time, we will return….."

"What a perfect location. It's in the middle of nowhere which suited us perfectly. The caravan is situated right next to a small stream, which was so peaceful to sit and listen to. It had everything we needed. No hoover though. If we had of known we would of taken our own because of the dogs. A couple of lights didn't work but it wasn't an issue. We really didn't want to come home. Great destination for some beautiful walks."

"The Larches provided us with everything and more for a tranquil walking holiday Easter break. We enjoyed the idyllic surroundings and views, multi level garden teaming with wildlife. Beautiful characterful cottage, extremely informative library for local walks fully kitted with lovely clean comfortable beds, culinary equipment and crockery needs. "

"This cottage is very spacious with 4 double bedrooms, with a huge kitchen and other large rooms downstairs plus a large patio. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all sorts of cooking equipment - easily the best cottage we've come across for these things. The location is great for access to the hills and although you can walk to Keswick or an eatery, you'll probably need to drive for the most part. "We had a lovely stay in Cosy Cottage. It’s a lovely space with excellent heating and fire to keep you warm! The bed was also very comfortable and the shower pressure is excellent. Our only complaint was the equipment in the kitchen wasn’t brilliant, not good quality, quite old and occasionally dirty. Otherwise the whole cottage had been cleaned very well. "Perfect find fir a few nights away with the bonus of parking in Keswick!! Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given. Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it. Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel. Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm. Definitely worth a visit "
