"The room stunk of Bad body odour, the cups were dirty around the handles, floor was coming apart, thudding from upstairs so sleep was poor. Was advertised has having a restaurant but wasn’t one. The only positive was the man on reception was very polite and helpful."

"Average for the price, mattresses are tired and pillows lumpy but bedding clean. Breakfast room is self served with bread in the fridge, hot water urn was cold, not switched on and no kettle instead."

"This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishop’s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again on future visits and feel comfortable passing along this...
