"Really nice and unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised to find it is better than its 3 star rating. Huge room, nice king size bed and weird setup with toilet in a separate space far away, on the other end of the room away from sink and shower, but this seems common in Normandy hotels we have stayed. Also the first hotel we saw here to have an iron and ironing board! "

"New hotel and rooms are pleasant enough! Just don't arrive out of hours otherwise you have to try your luck with the automated check in. This is not possible without your booking reference. You don't get this with a third party booking site! Good luck with the remote intercom and be prepared to speak some French if not native! Then the code should open the parking gate BUT doesn't if you don't pre-book parking - this wasn't an option on expedia and the intercom refused to add parking to the booking. Had to park on the street! I would rather pay an extra €10 per night for a real person! "

"This is an exemplary property. You will feel like you have been transported to Architectural Digest and the grounds are straight out of a fairytale. The staff is unobtrusive but always handy and helpful. My one caveat is the onsite restaurant is a bit presumptuous but did not live up to the standard. An experience but not one I would repeat "
