The Neighborhood:
This home is located on near Peak 10 in Breckenridge and sits on a hill with beautiful views of the Ten Mile Range and Baldy Mountain. Hiking and ski trail access less than 1/4 mile from the home. IF YOU ARE ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE SKIIER – you can ski from our neighborhood to the Beaver Run Chair lift. From our house, it is 0.3mi. From the Stop Sign at the end of our street (the shuttle stop) take a left and walk up about 1 block. Across from the Gold King Way street sign there is a trailhead marker. You put your ski’s on here. You will be veering right just past the wood fence on your right. Follow the path to a snow covered narrow footbridge that you will ski across and end up on an old ski run that will lead you down to the Beaver Run or Quick Silver lift. You may have to pole it a short distance. Although there is a way to ski home, we do not recommend it. It is not easy nor is it well marked so best to take shuttle home at the end of the day.
Getting Around:
An easy five minute drive to Main Street and a free neighborhood shuttle will take you to and from the Quicksilver Lift. The shuttle itself is right at the corner and will drop your group just at the other side of Maggie pond (Quicksilver Lift). During ski season, the shuttle comes every 15 to 20 minutes and is a five minute walk from the door. Please note: There is room to park 2 cars inside of the garage and two cars outside of the garage.
MORE ABOUT THE SHUTTLE: Ski shuttle (called “Upper Warrior’s Mark Shuttle”) runs about every 10-15 min from the stop sign at the end our street (the corner of New England Drive and White Cloud). It Runs from 8am - 7:50 pm. It is 0.2 mi from the house and an easy walk. This shuttle will drop you/pick in front of Marriott’s Mountain Valley Lodge at 655 Columbine Road at the Charter Sports Rentals sign pictured below. From here you can walk to the Quick Silver Lift with your skis or it is also a short walk to the south end of Main Street.

We have stayed in several locations in Colorado but this was our favorite! The house is well appointed and the view, along with the access to town, was tip top. We will stay here again! There are stairs to all of the bedrooms so be aware of this if any of the guests have mobility issues. We fell in love with Breckenridge the moment we arrived.
nice property, needs to be cleaned better and few items need service!

Disapointed
The property was OK but there were several things that were not OK for the price we paid. The deck was very janky and only had 3 chairs. The pots and pans were very old and the untentils were old and well used. We requested a problem with the downstairs bathroom and never heard back from the property manager.

Looked good but looks are deceiving
First, the good. The linens, bedding, etc were amazing. But that's where it ends.
Safety:
In every room, the curtains hung over the baseboard heaters - an obvious fire hazard. In the lower level, the carpet was a 1 1/2 proud of the tile flooring with no transition. We had to move my father to another room because of the tripping hazard.
Just being cheap:
The pots and pans were about as low quality as one could find. At the price point that I paid for the property, there were expectations that were not met. If I paid a bargain rate then I would expect bargain equipment.
Stuff plain didn't work:
The ice maker, water or anything else didn't work. The filter hadn't been changed, probably ever. The water pressure was so slow in all of the bedrooms except the master that toilets barely flushed and showering was closer to a sponge bath than a actual shower.
Lastly the televisions. The property owner expected the renters to use their own streaming services with their own passwords in order to use the televisions in the bedrooms. The add clearly states cable would be provided. Silly me expected that it would be provided for ALL of the televisions. My father likes to watch local news to get an understanding of the community and that was not an option.
By far, this is the worst property that I have ever stayed. It should be a crime to charge so much. I should have chosen a block of rooms at a hotel. It would have been cheaper and more enjoyable.
We had a wonderful stay at Warrior’s Mark. The house was large enough for our family of 11. The kitchen was well stocked, the main level was large and roomy - perfect for hanging out. Everything was just as advertised. Communication was excellent, We would definitely rent from them again.
Two notes, which have no bearing on the property- just might help you plan. The difference in altitude is REAL! We bought oxygen at the grocery and used it almost every day. It helped tremendously. For us, when we were there, the shuttle was not running regularly. We waited 45 minutes. We called the number listed and were told it would be 10 more minutes. They never showed. We walked back and got our car. Luckily we had our car. Just an FYI in case you don’t.
The house had everything we need for our party of 10. It had great common space but plenty of bedroom space as well. Another plus was how close it was to town, walkable if you were up for it, but otherwise just a short drive.
