"We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

A sign or signs would help, I was left hanging around the bar to ask about c/in the bar staff then pointed me to someone who was busy taking a long food order, they then eventually directed me to someone else who then said they were busy and I would need to wait for them... "Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one "

"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"Lovely place, rural which I liked. They had chalets behind the property down a small hill. It was so cosy. Meals in the pub had plenty of variety as well as breakfast. They also had some star gazing rooms (where roof opens up). Enjoyed my stay and would book again."
