The loft beach shacks are very compact, particularly the kitchen/dining/laundry area. There is just enough space for 2….although the 4 seater lounge is very generous. Having the bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs won’t suit everyone. I would suggest adding a two way light switch for the stairs or a sensor light at the stairs landing. The kitchen also needs more lighting. Overall, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The on site cafe is great.

We loved this property. There were separate areas so our kids could have their own space. The outdoor area is great to sit and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to dining options and a short walk to the park and beach.

The property is in a great location close to everything at Point Lookout and bus services if you are not driving. The accommodation was clean and tidy with a full kitchen if needed. Great cafe on the location.

The Deluxe Beach Shack my wife and I stayed in was wonderful! Perfect for a couple, it was well furnished and the location was really nice, backing onto the native bushland. Maya was wonderful - very friendly and helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. We loved it and will certainly be back!

I like the special design of premisses, the garden design, the good location and beaches are close to the hotel. The reseptionist was very polite and cooperative. I will come back as soon as possible.

This property was pretty good. Very relaxed. We stayed in a beach shack, it was pretty minimal for the price. The bathroom walls are not insulated making the bathroom a sauna during the day. On check out day, you are directed to empty the rubbish. This is annoying. I'm on holiday, I've paid for an over-priced room, yet I have to empty the bins before I go. Isn't this what the cleaning staff are paid for? Not the vibe for me.

The location was great however the beds were uncomfortable. There wasn’t any linen or towel’s provided for our children. Had to pay an extra fee to borrow a beach towel. It suited our needs for the three nights but way overpriced for one level above ‘glamping’

We have been to Allure many times over the years but never stayed in the cabins behind reception . We wont go back. For elderly people its a treck to carry luggage in the heat. Be good if there was someone to help. The lighting is shocking inside the cabin and we were woken at 2.30 am by the chopper landing near us ( not Allures fault) The cabin looks shabby snd needs a make over and the dishwasher doesn’t work very well. The shower seems to give hot water at a trickle then cold with force but nothing inbetween. I’m sorry to say all the above but we love Straddie and the Allure complex but feel you should fix cabin accommodation to bring it ip to scratch.

We had a great stay at the Allure Resort. We stayed in a beach shack and we’re pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean our shack was. It had pretty much everything we needed for our long weekend and the little deck outside with the baby Weber bbq was especially useful. The shack was lacking in a few utensils which would have been useful (scissors/bbq tongs) and you’ll need to bring washing up liquid for anything that won’t go in the dishwasher but otherwise we were very pleased with everything. Our unit (no 20) was right next to the pool so there was some noise and early in the morning so if this will bother you email the resort before your stay and request a quieter unit (they are very responsive to emails). All in all we would definitely recommend a stay at Allure!

The deluxe villa we stayed in was very run down & quite old. The lamp shade & cushions on the couch were mouldy. It definitely needs an upgrade. It would be okay for 1 night for business if you didn’t care about aesthetics. The kids bedroom was separated from the villa by a deck, which would be great for teens but our 8 year old son was too scared to sleep in there on his own. The pool was heated though which was great for the kids. I stayed here years ago & it was great but I’m guessing due to covid the place was let go abit.
