Nothing fancy just a very comfortable and functional place if you’re in town for a longer stay. Excellent Thai restaurant in the lobby. Taringa is a good little neighbourhood. The metro stop is right behind the hotel - you can get downtown in 10 minutes. Note: building is shared by doctor’s offices. Apartment style hotel rooms are on the floors above.

Arriving early at the property as i was having a procedure at the day hospital the staff were amazing and got me straight into my room. Something that definitely eased my nerves and made my recovery much mpre relaxing. The room was clean and had a good selection of crockery along with fridge and microwave. Being able to come straight up the lifts from westside made everything so smooth at a time when excess trsvel is not wanted. The train station was right next to the hotel with a supermarket just up the street. Super convenient and a great place to rest up.

The Essence Suites were ideal for a quiet, well appointed, spacious room which I needed to focus on work. With Taringa train station, great cafe downstairs, Coles supermarket and nail salon a short walk away- it was a convenient location. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, cafe staff were also very friendly & food/coffee was great, recommend.
