"Really loved the 3 nights we stayed in Unit C. Check in and out was super easy. Parking right in front of the unit. In the past we have stayed at Gibson Inn and other hotels in the area. But now this will be our go to place. Everything was clean. Bed was comfy. Linens were good quality. We only made toast and coffee, but it seemed the kitchen was stocked well if you choose to cook. Coffee pods were furnished for the Keurig. The quiet little back porch was secluded, and we enjoyed coffee there...

"I absolutely loved staying at Bear Necessities. I was in need of time to myself and this simple bungalow immediately felt like home. The kitchen is well appointed with everything a cook might need. "Our second time staying here. My husband had easy access to put his boat in and fish. My kids enjoyed hunting for crabs, skim boarding and throwing the ball for our dog in the bay. Great location to walk to the grocery store and the shops and restaurants in Port St Joe. My kids love bunk bed set up. Kitchen is very user friendly, we ate in and cooked most nights. Keepers restaurant next door was very good. Booking agents were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you, we will be back again."
