"Quiet and a good view if you get a room facing the river at the back of the building. We stayed only 1 night. It was close to walking trails"

"We spent 3 nights here, attending our niece's wedding ... Checked in later in the day with no problem. The hotel is in the middle of renovations, so no in house phone, restaurant or pool at the moment. But if you're looking for a good night's sleep it's great. The mattresses are more on the firm side in our opinion. The pillows were a bit soft. The towels were thick and great. The shower head had OK pressure but IMO it could have been a bit stronger. No ironing board or iron in the room at the point. No water glasses but did have a small expresso type machine. There's NO carpet in the room, just vinyl plank flooring but well done for sure. The hallways are carpeted and wide. The rooms smelled great and the thermostat worked great as well with minimal noise from the unit itself. Nothing was over the top but just a clean, comfy, more than adequate facility for the money. When the pool, etc is done, I suspect it will be even better."

"My friend forgot her iphone charger. I called and received a call back, the receptionist said she’ll look and let me know. I didn’t receive any response back. I called again the next day and left a message; no response again. On the day we returned to Calgary from Vancouver, we dropped by and asked again. The receptionist said they called me back with a response couldn’t find it. I said my cell had no missed call. She again confirmed that they didn’t see my friend iphone charger. I then asked her “Could you please ask the housekeeping on that day?”. She called some one and he/she said there are 4 chargers on the 2nd floor which we stayed 4 days ago. She went up and brought back only 2 chargers and none of them are ours. Then she went back to 2nd floor and brought down 2 more; finally we got back our charger. I won’t stay here again!"

"Our unit was very ill equipped - we could not make a cooked breakfast as the fry pan was disgusting - scratched and damaged - no filters for the coffee machine - very few plates or cups. Wine glasses were a joke."

"The restaurant on site was amazing, beautiful meals. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and well appointed. Starbucks coffee machine with pods and creamer also complimentary. We stayed on the side overlooking the pool. The room had a slight smell of chlorine and unfortunately the blinds on the windows did not block out the light in the pool area that remained on all night. If I stayed again I would request a room on the other side to avoid the only two downsides of the stay."

"Definitely a dated hotel. However, the beds were okay, the room was clean, and the price was right. We had the family room, which has 3 beds. There is a bedroom with 2 beds, and the washroom, and the main living area with some barstools, and the 3rd bed. Quite a large room for those travelling with children. Location was good on the northern end of town. No coffee in the room."
