It’s a small inn but the chef is super creative evidence d by locals eating in their restaurant as well.

My flight with easyjet got canceled 30 minutes before boarding, and although Wavertree’s policy is no refunds, they graciously gave me a refund. Super kind and generous; I’m very thankful.

Everything at The Windermere Hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were super friendly from the emails we exchanged prior to my arrival, to every time I was in and out of the hotel to the breakfast dining staff. My room was cozy and quiet and breakfast (which was included) I really enjoyed. The staff is really the key to this wonderful hotel. I felt so welcomed and I cannot say enough nice things about the hotel's team. Thank you for everything!

The Grove Guest House had 5 stars and great reviews. I decided other people couldn't be wrong, so I booked a week there for a business trip. I was looking for the true B&B experience, not the hotel with breakfast offered experience. I was not disappointed. Immediately I get a warm email from Hazel about saftey in London, what the Grove House offers, and asked what I wanted for breakfast. I still had 9 months before I was to check-in, but I admired her committment to make my stay comfortable and...

Good spot for a short stay in London. Loved the neighborhood and it was surprisingly quiet at night.

This place is the perfect hidden gem. Our room was amazing. It was just perfect. The extra details in the room were perfect. Everything appeared to be brand new. We also very much enjoyed the pub downstairs! Ben the bartender was very nice, we enjoyed having a pint to two there. If your plans take you to this area, you can’t do better!

Great stay for the price & owner Alex was very accommodating during my entire stay! Was a tad sad about technical difficulties while attempting to use WiFi (& I did let Alex know this too & he attempted to correct issue, to no avail) & inability to access thermostat (building's historic with no built-in temperature unit), I'd DEFINITELY still recommend it, as it's very comparable for the price!

This property had it all! It was close to everything yet set just far enough so street noise would not affect our sleep. Breakfast each morning came with fresh eggs, sausage, bacon with many options. There were a couple mornings when we had to leave early to get to a tour or flight back - they still made us a to go breakfast which was awesome! In a quaint area. Lovely room at the top of the building. Quiet and comfortable. A little warm late in the afternoon but cooled down in the evening. Excellent and accommodating staff. Good food.

I loved staying at the Brownswood! My son lives within a mile and it is a lovely neighborhood and next to a huge park. It was comfortable and the beer garden was welcoming and fun. I will stay here again!
