"Lovely and clean, good sized double bedroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. Ensuite small bathroom with lovely, easy to use, shower. TV, though not a lot of channels. Parking permit is a bonus, although finding a space can be tricky. Great room at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Very happy "

White a bit of noise from outside but for the rates and everything else about the hotel this is a minor point. The rooms were quite dated but I knew this when booking and it also felt like a very minor point for the stay. Overall had an amazing stay!"

"We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby. I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews. The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle. We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture. The staff were lovely. There's minimal parking, but we managed to park nearby. Overall the hotel was ideal."
