"The moment we walked in we heard our 5 grandchildren squealing in delight. They all went to the loft room to claim their nighttime spot! (My oldest mentioned the next morning that she could see the stars through the window and she felt so blessed).Throughout our stay we heard their joy playing ping pong, cornhole and cards. The deck was our choice for meals, music, playing 5 crowns and Uno and so much more. With the 12 of us just enjoying family and the outdoors and lovely wild flowers. (We really had no bug issues at all). S’mores by the fire, family photos and all the love we could share with each other.We had tears as our family gathering came to an end. We created so many memories, it was amazing.And on a side note we got to break in a new Blackstone grill, which made the guys happy to use it and the gals happy to not be in charge of the meals.Our hosts were fabulous, on top of everything and quick to answer any questions!If we could give more than 5 stars we would!"

"The pictures don't do this place justice! A beautiful home with an amazing view. We had such a wonderful time exploring the Apostle Islands and the Bayfield/Cornucopia area, and this was a great place to make our home base. The host was kind and enjoyable to visit with."

"My husband and I were in Barnes for a friend’s birthday on 4th of July weekend, found Dana and Greg’s place, and loved it. They are so friendly and wonderfully accommodating. Plus Sophie is the best doggie greeter in Wisconsin. Thank you for the amazing fire pit and great tour of the lake!! You guys are the best. See you soon."

"We had an amazing time! The cabin is gorgeous and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the lake and using the canoes! The water is so clear and was very refreshing. Mike was a great host and responded quickly when an issue arose so that it didn’t affect our stay. Would 1000% recommend and hope to one day be back!"
