"This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Zurich but it is very basic and not well equipped, 1 mug, 1 large plate and 1 small plate - all for 2 people. The shower cabinet was missing part of a door so didn’t close the whole way and no where to hang wet towels. Also the bed is in a corner so one person has to climb in and out from the bottom. It is fine for a brief stay and the bedding was clean. On the plus side there is a 24 hour shop underneath so breakfast was on hand - fresh croissant and...

"We had an enjoyable l one night stay at Gasthaus zum Bauernhof. The check in process was very unique in that your key is awaiting you but we did not see anyone who worked there until later. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and we appreciated the adjoining rooms our family shared. We were tired so we did not choose to eat at the restaurant, but it the food smelled wonderful. Found a grocery store for some picnic items instead. Spoke to the owner/manager and were made to...

"Bij het boeken stond gratis parkeren achteraf krijg je te horen dat je moet betalen. Inplaats van dat hij dat netjes aangeeft van te voren hoor je het achteraf. Hetzelfde met internet we vroegen de code maar hij gaf niet aan dat hij dit in rekening zou brengen. Dat bleek ergens op een papiertje te staan. Wij vroegen voor de zekerheid de WiFi code maar gingen gelijk de deur uit dus hebben hem nooit gebruikt. En dan beschuldigd deze man ons ook nog dat we cola van hem hebben gedronken terwijl...

"This was a lovely hotel. Great location (literally steps away from public transit and grocery stores) with a nice garden out front. The room was nicely furnished and had a handy microwave and fridge. The hotel also had a laundry room. The only thing stopping this hotel from getting a 4 star was the shower. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to scorching hot without touching the controls. "
