"Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

"Very, very clean house with everything you need to cook including a Thermador stove. Restaurants are steps away and include Sushi, Pizza, Greek and Bar food. Beds are very comfortable and bedding is lovely patterns. Dog friendly home with fenced in yard in back. Close to VMI and Washington and Lee universities."

"I booked this home for my daughter to take her kids on a spring break trip. It was the perfect choice for us. Their plans included taking in a baseball game at Liberty University, frisbee golf, pickleball and a trip to Safari Land. This was the perfect house for them in the right location. The host was very open and easy to reach. We received a great Welcome Guide. The kids loved it so much they asked if we could come back for a summer trip! Would totally book this great home again!"

"The old farm house was perfect for our two families. It was right off the highway so it was great for getting to and from Lexington for our kids races. The beds are very comfy and you have everything there to prepare meals. We stayed during winter so like most old houses there were quite a few lady bugs in the kitchen and bathrooms. There is only one shower so getting cleaned up each night after racing took some time but overall it was a great place to stay"

"Our stay at the Maury House was exceptional. Thehost was accommodating ( we arrived an hour early) and available. The host responded to my questions immediately. The house is beautiful, well appointed, and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. There were seven in my group and the house could have held many more a d be very comfortable. Highly recommend! . .."

"We had a lovely stay at the “Writer’s Cabin!” It is small but so cozy and perfect for two. We had rain at first but when the skies cleared we went for a walk and explored the Chessie Trail. A lovely walk along the river. Hosts are very gracious. Easy check in and check out."
