"This was a super fun way to start our tour of Italy. It was fun to feel like we were part of the area, could interact with the people. Our hosts were so gracious and hospitable. We loved the area, being a little off the beaten path worked out great. There were still a few great restaurants and the best gelato we had in Italy was in Lierna! Since we had a car it was a quick drive to Verena where we could park in the parking structure across from Villa Monastero. From there we walked into town,...

"Our stay at the villa was amazing. We only stayed for one night and wished we had stayed longer. Francesca was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely in the morning . Also had a lovely welcome from their golden retriever! The views were amazing from our room and the pool area.. we would definitely come and stay again😊"

"Io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura a Pasqua per due notti: il proprietario è una persona squisita e disponibile pronta ad aiutarci e a darci consigli sul luogo. Abbiamo trovato la camera calda (i termosifoni sono regolabili), e con tutto quello che ci serviva. La colazione buona, abbiamo mangiato briosche, taleggio, pane fresco e marmellata (si poteva anche mangiare biscotti e fette biscottate). Il parcheggio è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla struttura. "Very beautiful and quiet place BUT the address on the hotels.com app is completely wrong!!!! If you are seeking a relaxing place in the middle of the mountains, this is a good place. However it is very difficult to reach. Search for "Ristorante Val Colla B&B" and you will find the correct location. It is in Bogno, not Gandria. "

"Friendly front desk host ,easy check in. Rooms were ready before check in time frame ,so they let us in the room early to dropp off the luggages and enjoy the town. Rooms were clean . The breakfast was good and the lady who is taking care the service in the breakfast area was very helpful. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aria Retreat & Spa. The room, the view—everything was exceptional and made us feel completely at home. All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to Matteo, who assisted us with both check-in and check-out and made everything seamless. We had a minor issue with the shower on the day we arrived, but it was resolved promptly that same evening, showing the team’s great responsiveness. Our entire stay was so relaxing and peaceful. One of the highlights was enjoying the in-room breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful lake—it was the perfect and most pleasant way to start each day. Thank you again for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!"

"The last time we stayed in Bellagio, we stayed downtown. Although conveniently located, you heard the noise of everyone. This gem is licated in the hills out from th city with fantastic views, great staff and wines and free transportation in and out of town. I would return in a hearbeat I"
