"Lovely place to stay in a central position to the village. Very old with loads of character. Staff were very friendly and the food was really great. Our room was cosy, simply decorated and comfortable. Lacked a dressing table or somewhere to sit with a mirror and plug for hair drying/styling but we managed. Situated set back off the main street, next to a small Roman Catholic church for which the bells chime at 8am in Sundays but wasn’t intrusive. Lovely choice of breakfasts on the menu too."

The entire place has a charming, peaceful vibe, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the accommodation in top shape. One of the biggest pluses was the private car park – very convenient and secure. The outdoor area is lovely too, with hanging flower baskets and a relaxing patio that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable getaway spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop"

"Quirky and comfortable hotel with amazing staff. Stayed in a spa room with its own courtyard, lovely. Staff are great, friendly, helpful and have a sense of humour. Brilliant. Room super comfy, some of the public areas feel just a little bit tired (only noticeable by how good the rooms are). Food was amazing and plentiful. Will definitely be going back. "
