"The host is very informative and considerate. Cleaning took longer from previous renter (not their fault at all) and was kind by offering us something for inconvenience, which was extra and not a norm at least for us! Plenty of space and room was very delighted for the views! Had alot to accommodate little children and sleep situations. "

"My husband, two dogs and I enojoyed a fantastic stay at this very cute modern cabin. The owners have made a lot of upgrades/renovations that make the spaces feel cozy and inviting. They were also very responsive and offered helpful recommendations for dog friendly hiking trails. There were plenty of extra linens, towels and even pillows. They have all the little things you need (including a whole spice rack!) and even travel sized tubes of shampoo, lotion etc. if you forgot to pack something. The photos are spot-on, and we enjoyed the seclusion of being on a very private road with quiet neighbors that you can't see unless you drive down the road a bit.We liked that it was only a 20 min drive to downtown Jasper, 30 minutes to Elijay and lots of great dining options (we are foodies and we found many great restaurants, breweries, wineries and cafes, etc.).The only neutral comment is that if you tend to use the restroom in the middle of the night like I do, and you're staying in the master bedroom (with the only king bed), be aware that the bathroom is down a set of stairs on the opposite end of the house. If you don't mind the trek or are a sound sleeper, you're golden.We did point out a few minor items to the owner after our stay and they were well-received, with reassurances that they had plans in the wings for more improvements and all issues would quickly taken care of. I have no doubt that this place will be an even cuter/more comfortable rental in the months to come."

"What was planned as a relaxing getaway in the mountains for myself, my husband, and our two teen daughters, ended up being a “grin and bear it“ situation. The upstairs shower did not work and worse, there was no hot water to the entire house! The gas tank that you are required to disconnect from the grill and move through the inside of the house to the fire table and connect it was not enough to make the fire table work as the ignition is broken. The dishwasher, even after being run three times, washed nothing. There is no working lock on the back porch sliding door, so we needed to put a fire poker in the track to ensure it would not open. The house was filthy, with dead insects, acorns from rodents, Balls of hair, garbage, etc. Dishes and pans needed to be washed before use. In freezing water. The property manager does respond to text, but when so many problems arise, they take their time. The first day we were told all day and evening that a “work order“ would be made. What that meant for us I have no idea as the next day I heard that all day as well Before I finally got a quick “we are sorry” and another offer for a work order to be made. At that point, we requested the work be done the next day after we left as we only had one day to try to relax. Lights were burned out everywhere, and the outside is completely dark With a treacherous walk for any pets you might bring. We chose this place for somewhat of a “glamping” experience, but we would not return."
