"Beautiful, scenic and laid back environment. Only issue we had was the rooms were dated and it seems like every meal was a lackluster buffet for $20-30. We stayed the weekend of Halloween 2026 and there were some festive events going on that were fun."

Amazing Mountain View & Cabin Retreat - Big Canoe

Amazing Mountain View & Cabin Retreat - Big Canoe

10/10 Excellent
"This property was wonderful. We were welcomed when we arrived by a black bear. We enjoyed watching him/her from a safe distance(lots of pictures).Several of us were there for a golf tournament and mentioned that everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided. Almost wanted to skip the tournament and enjoy the accommodations! Only trouble was getting the key to work to enter the in-law suite. But, the person staying there didn’t have too much trouble once she got used to it. I would love to bring my family back for a vacation sometime."
