"Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. "

"With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!"

"This cabin shows all the signs of being well loved. Everything guests could need has been anticipated, from a tea kettle to toilet paper. Comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean describes the place. Our dog even loved the lion statues out front. Last winter was especially hard on our family. We had to cancel once due to health problems, and the owner graciously helped us rearrange our plans. The opportunity to enjoy some quiet time in a charming cabin was just what we needed."

"It is a little difficult for me to rate this property. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars, but unfortunately, it isn't possible here, so I am going with four, and here is why. All the wonderful things are listed and accurate: floors - impeccably clean, toys - to keep the kids happy even in rainy weather; I'd add supplies to prevent you from rushing to the store for trash bags, dishwasher pods, etc; a little welcome note for a personal touch. Now, why not 5? Some things need some work: the grill needs...

"The cabin was equipped very well for cooking meals of any size. We enjoyed our thanksgiving meal and then some. The cabin was family friendly. We loved the views and just how comfortable and homey the feeling was. When we left we actually felt the deer saying goodbye to us all. Going to make this a yearly tradition.
