Great front desk girls!! They were all helpful in helping us with the transit system! They gave us directions and told us where to change stops. So helpful in DC!! Also gave us directions to casino not too far away.
The room was a decent size. Bed was fine but pillows were hard as a rock! Room was pretty clean and grounds were nice. We would stay at this one again. It did need more parking and it was easy in and out.
Also breakfast was not fancy but you could have waffles, cereal, bagels and...

The hotel is very conveniently located for most things in Durham. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful all of the time. They were all quite courteous and helped make our stay enjoyable. We were there for eight nights so we were able to get a much better feel for the staff and the amenities they provided. If we needed a few copies of something run off, or asked for anything they responded immediately with a smile. If people went in for breakfast close to the 10:00 am cutoff they...

Definitely enjoyed our stay! Much nicer than expected. Stayed only one night, the DPAC and many restaurants were very close. Great breakfast as wrll! I would definitely recommend!

We were given a room that was occupied and immediately returned to the front desk. The response should have been, "I'm so sorry, let me take care of that" or "sorry for the inconvenience", but instead, the room was called to verify that it was occupied. It was late at night, we were tired, and the last thing we needed to do was to walk back to the front desk! Do better, please.

My husband had eye surgery the morning we had to check in. We went to the University Inn hours before check in to pay for our room; which we realized would not be ready. But the wonderful woman at the front desk said she would call us when the room was ready; and she did! It was a relief for my husband to get in the room and rest after his procedure. That was going above and beyond!

The hotel was very clean. The furniture and appliances were modern with plenty of power outlets, and USB charging ports. The WiFi was fast and was able to keep up with video conferences and streaming videos. The bathroom was very well designed and thought out. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping within a mile radius of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel was quiet at night. I've stayed at a fair amount of hotels and Holiday Inns for work and I can say that this was possibly the best...

We love staying at Home2 Suites. The rooms are clean and spacious; my (adult) child has a significant food allergy, so the convenience of washable dishes (and dishwasher), full-sized refrigerator, and microwave are well worth paying a little extra. The gym and indoor pool are also nice features (that we did not partake of, haha!) We also really like the hot chocolate bar and the afternoon cookies!

In the past, the Oxford Comfort Inn has been full of motorists stopping over for the night off the Interstate 85 corridor or people who are in Granville County for family reunions and other social gatherings. So, the place can be a high-traffic zone and one needs to check in advance to see if rooms are available during the spring and summer months. More recently, however, we stayed on a weekday night and past the Labor Day weekend and the tourist season and got a good deal on a larger room. The...

Very nice, newer hotel in a very safe area, 2-3 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The usual Marriott layout shares space with the Courtyard. Nice small kitchen with microwave, 2 burner stove and a full size refridgerator. The complimentary breakfast bar was very nice, with scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, rolls/bagels, cereal, yogurt, and even cook your own Belgian Waffles.
