"It was for an overnight stay. The hotel was beautiful and had character, very pleasant surroundings, felt homely too. Lee the receptionist was delightful, very welcoming and lovely. Other staff were friendly and accommodating. Again the room was excellent and bed was very comfy. I was delighted with my stay. From the moment we stepped into the pub to the moment we checked out, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive — they truly made us feel at home. The location is spot-on, right on the high street with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops just steps away. Even though the hotel is connected to a lively pub, they close the back door after 9pm, so it’s perfectly peaceful in the rooms behind. We slept like babies! And the breakfast?
