The Shepherds Huts are delightful. Everything one needs in a cozy space. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the best aspect of the place is the restaurant. The food, service, and setting are wonderful.

The property is almost on Silverstone racetrack and the rack was busy the whole time. Lots of small, very fast, racecars plus other tricked out cars watched from the roof deck or the restuarant. The accommodation is spacious, interesting and comfortable, there are sculptures scattered through the grounds and each "room" has a deck or balcony with views of interesting landscaping or for more money fantastic views of the track. The Castle at Edgehill is well kept, clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Banbury, Stratford and Warwick. We stayed in the Astley room and were extremely pleased with the comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and hot shower. Fantastic value for money and the location from the motorway way super handy. We checked in late at night as we needed to night stop as we were exhausted from driving. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and had so many options for all tastes!

the hotel is in a golf resort. The room was a bit small and there was no A/C in our room. The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. The food and bar were good. Thre is no other restaraunts or bars close by.

For history buffs, it is close to the site of the Battle of Naseby during the English civil war, which essentially culminated in a Parliamentary victory (Oliver Cromwell) over the Royalist forces of Charles I.
