"We booked the Paddocks which had a self contained very well equipped kitchen in an enclosed courtyard It provided a very comfortable overnight stay. We couldnt fault it. We arrived early as we had booked Sunday lunch at the George which was excellant and Wayne allowed us to leave our car there. Wayne was very friendly and not intrusive at all. "Late arrival was no problem and we were able to store our luggage after check out to finish touring the town. Staff made sure someone helped us up the stairs with our luggage and were willing to provide all we needed. The only thing that was tricky was half our bed was lopsided, so my husband felt he was falling out of his side."

Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. "Great communication, property beautifully decorated. Alrhough no parking there is a 24hr carpaek 5minutes walk away and reasonably priced. Easy to unload bags as road next to it has 1hr free parking. 5min walk and you are in centre of the town which is stunning"
