"Check in process was easy, it was all self service and the instructions were very clear so it made this a simple process. The room was a decent size however part is the ceiling is quite low so you had to duck down when moving around. (Room 5) There was a fridge with a jug of water in and a selection of tea and coffee on the side with biscuits. I stayed for 2 nights but there was only enough coffee and biscuits for 1 night. I was disappointed regarding breakfast as free breakfast was offered as part of the booking but it wasn’t stated that it was continental only. This was only communicated the night before when receiving a message from the property, it would have been nice to have been offered a cooked breakfast as I personally don’t like continental. The location is amazing, you are only a couple of minutes walk to the harbour. There is no parking at the property however if you’re lucky like I was, you can park out the front for free. In the message from the property it did advise which car park to use which was helpful. I would stay here again based on the location."

"The lady on reception was very pleasant on arrival and helpful. After that point things went downhill. The family room was very run down and the carpet had both dog and human hair in it. It clearly had not been hoovered before we arrived. The walls were marked badly and as usual the family room was la ed in the attic of the building. Such a shame because the location lends itself to being a great hotel! "

"Food in the restaurant was really good. Staff were really good and friendly. Beds are hard. And bedrooms outdated. Shower was very poor flowing "

"The rooms were extremely basic but clean, and the hotel was conveniently located for where we wanted to be. The rooms and the dining area were way too hot and couldnt be moderated and the beds, pillows and duvet were also basic ajd very uncomfortable. The breakfast was basic but sufficient "

"Lovely property with very nice and helpful staff. Food and drink was excellent. Just unfortunate that the room was so hot. It was a warm day but considering it was April and a 20-22C day I was shocked how uncomfortable the room felt. Portable AC is provided but not overly effective. "

"Staff friendly. Parking ample and secure. Bar and restaurant were welcoming and provided very good levels of service and food. A very enjoyable stay."

"One of the best spas I have visited. This is due to the friendly welcoming warm staff - specially Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us, she happily showed us around the facilities and made us feel very special. The fun, colourful vibe and swim up cocktails were a treat and the room with the double bath was one of its kind and so memorable. I would come back in a heartbeat - and hope to return later this year"
