"From the start of the booking process, Annabelle was brilliant and quick to respond to any queries, we were arriving before check in time and were able to leave our cases in the villa instead of having to keep them with us, the villa itself is on 3 levels with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms plus an outside toilet, the pool area is lovely and the villa had everything needed for our stay, there were 2 bedrooms without air con so would need some sort of fans in the summer but the villa was nice and...

"Great location. Only negative is that you have to pay extra for the bedding? We have never experienced this before and thought it was a bit naughty to get extra cash. Wouldnt of booked it if Id known bedding wasnt included. But after the initial misunderstanding we payed the extra for the bedding and had a great few nights. Wouldn't go back on principal though. Everywhere I have booked since my friends ask does this one include bedding?? Standard joke now."

We loved the property, the pool and the location, great for the mountains and 15min drive to Tavira. Heidi was very friendly and attentive, checking that we had everything we needed, which we did. "We loved the beautiful house and yard. It was a great place to hang out as a family. Lots of games and we had tournaments of bocce and ping pong. The tables inside and pool side were perfect for our family reunion of 8. The location to the amazing beach and colourful cliff walks were a short walk. The tapas restaurant and the fresh pastries from across the street were delicious. I hope to return. The owners were delightful and easy to get in touch with."

"Due to check in instructions via vrbo,myself and friends were taken to wrong adress of property.this was very quickly rectified with a call from owners.The owners are very pleasant people who go out there way to make your stay as wonderful as possible!NOTE:check in was vrbo error. We booked trhough the website vrbo and we received a message from her, that the key was under the door mat. "This is an idyllic place to stay, away from the crowds, on a wooded hillside surrounded by nature. The hosts, Heidi and Johannes, were very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Tavira, which has a good selection of cafés and restaurants and the nearby village of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo also has a small convenience store. The location is perfect, both for access to beaches and for hiking in the hills."

"The bungalow and its grounds were spacious, well equipped for the heat, with options to have shade - very necessary when it was 33C! The pool was fantastic! We self-catered the whole of our stay - so found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Comfortable beds, sofas etc, with plenty of spare cushions, towels etc. The owner's father responded quickly to any queries we had. All in all, a lovely holiday! Thankyou, Humberto!"

"Heerlijk! Enorme tuin vol bloemen en veel zitjes overal. Op een plateau op een heuvel dus mooi uitzicht. Het huis is heel smaakvol en met ook voor de oorspronkelijke Portugese bouwstijl gebouwd. Heel ruim opgezet wat een vrij gevoel geeft. Ik vond het er heel fijn."
