"Lovely property and perfect base to explore north Wales - amazing views of Snowdonia and fields around had hundreds of sheep in. Property was clean and had everything you need. Only negative (if we’re being very picky!) was the water pressure…took an age to run a bath and the electric shower above is not the strongest. The other bathroom with a mixer shower was fine. Overall, would definitely recommend and hopefully will return again in the future!"

"Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Wonderful location inside the old medieval wall! Steps from the Carnarvon Castle! Nice bar(s) and seating areas inside and out. On the other hand why would they put a senior on the third floor with no elevator?!! Shower drain was clogged but maintenance did fix that after I brought it to their attention. The biggest issue was the unseasonable heat. No A/C in these old hotels and the top floor was unbearable hot. All I had was a small 10 inch fan which was all but useless. Come on guys! Put some bigger fans on those top floor rooms! I’d stay there again, only on the condition of a ground floor room."
