However, the carpet in the room had a very strong smell of dampness and mould, and it felt quite dirty because of the humidity. This was the only negative point during our stay. Apart from that, everything else was very good."

"This beautiful building is clean and lovely ambience . Room and bathroom good size and what you expect from very large old hotel odd things like some worn carpets paint worked chippped but nothing awful . The staff who greeted us young lady on reception on Friday 1st May pm was so attentive and young man who served us drinks again lovely and polite and speaks a lot of languages . The food in the restaurant on site superb and the young waitress was so lovely again . Excellent value for money !!!!"
