"Just needs renovations "

"Our room was very clean and staff were very attentive to our request in moving us to another room due to a very strong smell. A brown bag breakfast was offered and much appreciated as we left very early in the morning to catch our flight. While the facility is dated, it is very well maintained by staff that are extremely attentive to details and friendly. Enjoyed our brief stay, thank you😊"

"Loved the openness of the hotel, the plants, souvenir shop. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was fantastic, clean, and spacious. Only "complaint" was pool could have been warmer and no poolside bartender lol but not a big deal, it is a beautiful pool area. We did get up at 0700 to get in the hottub and it wasn't hot, assumed the hottub was shut off at night. Our room was poolside and we were awakened by a very loud group of guests at the pool about midnight, called the front desk and it was taken care of immediately. I absolutely would stay at the Doubletree in San Jose again and definitely recommend it, especially for the airport shuttle/convenience."

"Nice clean stay, convenient location by the airport with car rentals a short walk away. Breakfast included was nice and if you have to leave early for the airport they give you a "to-go" bag of snacks."
