"We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the bright, clean lobby and received excellent service. We were even more happily surprised by the spacious, clean room. It was like a suite! It had two beds, easy chair, a glass table with chairs and doors that opened out onto a balcony with views of historic New Concord. The room provided a mini-kitchen with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and breakfast bar for two. The bathroom was also spacious, with enough space to put all my toiletries, and a big shower with lots of grab bars. The Garland had a spacious, colorful breakfast room with windows decorated with flowers and bunnies. Some hotels serve just a continental breakfast, but the Garland served scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. It also had the usual cereals, fruit and beverages. The coffee was outstanding. Two attendants refilled the food and kept the place clean. "

"The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. There wasn’t a lot of dishes in the kitchen. We had to grab some plastic silverware from the breakfast area so we would have 2 forks in order to eat together. It was nice. Would stay there again "
