This is a spacious, clean and bright apartment, very close to the Saddledome/Stampede grounds. We appreciated the coffee maker and full kitchen for cooking a meal. The host was friendly and quick to respond.
However, we did encounter some issues that made the stay less pleasant. The host only supplied one roll of toilet paper and when we ran out, we asked where we could find more and she told us to go buy some. We were shocked. My teenage daughter had her period and was using a little more than someone not on their period, so perhaps our usage as a family of 4 was higher than average at that time, but this is not something I measure. Who does? We were floored when the host told us that they only provide a 'starter set' of toilet paper. It is totally bizarre that a host would stand her ground over a roll of toilet paper. And what a pain for us as her guests to have to go out to buy this while on holiday. One would expect that when you rent accommodation, that it comes with enough toilet paper, no matter what your circumstances. This truly was a bizarre experience, and not one we have ever encountered before in our travels around the world.
Other issues with the unit was the shower faucet that was not working properly, although the host called a maintenance person before we arrived and again after we left. I will comment that the bedding is low quality and you'll want to bring your own pillow if you can and a sleeping mask as the main bedroom is very bright in the morning.
