"Nice, basic clean rooms. Nothing fancy. If you’re looking for an economical place to lay your head at night without all the fancy bells and whistles this is the place."

"First, the pros. -VERY clean home. -Very comfortable beds -Short drive to the entrance of Joshua Tree NP. -Great view from the patio. -The owner responded quickly to my questions via text message. -The kitchen is well appointed. Now, the cons. -The pool was filthy when we arrived with debris covering the surface and bottom, including a dead lizard that had sunk to the bottom. I contacted the owner who said that they would send the pool maintenance guys over ASAP. However, they didn’t show up until our last day, and we wound up not using the pool at all. -The owner did not keep us informed of the pool situation, even though I had asked them to do so. Also, there weren’t any instructions in the home on how to connect to the internet, sort the trash (3 trash cans), work the pool, or any other instructions that most vacation rentals have readily accessible to renters. -The front yard is covered in weeds. The gutter over the patio is falling down. A towel rack and a toilet paper holder fell off the wall and was never replaced, just painted over. The garage door opener was broken. Individually, none of these issues (except for the pool) are a big deal. Combined, they made the house feel sad and uncared for. The filthy pool, however, was a major bummer. We still had a great time, the house just didn’t enhance our experience. It has a lot of potential and I hope the owners improve it for renters to come."

"We had such a great time at this property on our recent trip. We are a family of 5, two adults and three kids, ages 4,6, and 9. We had more than enough room and the kids really enjoyed the outside space with the games and hammock. The location was perfect, a short drive to Joshua tree national park. The property was very clean and just as expected from the listing! We would definitely recommend you book a stay for a nice enjoyable trip."

"The house was the perfect retreat for a week in the Joshua Tree area. Close enough to everything we wanted to see, yet secluded enough that we felt like we were in our own little world. The deck and pool area were great, as was the kitchen and dining area. With 3 bedrooms, there was plent of space for everyone in our party. Would stay there again."
