"Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique ! Bien sûr, l’île de Madère elle-même est superbe. La localisation de l’hôtel est parfaite: directement près de l’océan (nous entendions même les vagues de notre chambre!), à proximité de la ville de Funchal (navette gratuite). Les chambres avec balcon sont très agréables et le balcon nous a permis de profiter du bruit des vagues et de la vue malgré la pluie. Les repas étaient excellents et variés et le personnel était toujours souriant, agréable et efficace! Des vacances parfaites pour célébrer notre anniversaire! Nous reviendrons certainement!"

"Hotel was nice, staff were friendly, massive room, bathroom needed a little modernisation but other than that was great. Pool area had plenty of seating but the sun beds were short and uncomfortable. Breakfast options were extensive, plenty of choice for vegetarians! Bar was a little expensive but great during happy hour. Location was spot on for walking and pick up/drop offs. We had a lovely stay!"

"When we checked in the room we were given had a broken door so we were moved to another room. The room we were changed to was not the same as what we paid for. We paid for a double sea view and had a corner view instead. We made the best of it. We enjoyed our stay and the nightly entertainment. The buffet had a different theme each night which was nice. The poor area was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs. The beach and ocean are right there with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 onsite restaurants which are included with your stay. We only ate at one of them and the food was very good. The resort is very family friendly and has a lot of amenities geared to the children. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it."

"Reid’s is a beautiful property with multiple pools and diving access to the ocean. Our stay involved changing rooms ( not the hotels fault), and not all rooms are the same. The first room had a walk in shower but the second room had a very slippery tub shower. There was construction going on during our stay that made for noisy afternoons. The food was really good and there are multiple restaurants, however, I would reserve a table in advance of your stay to guarantee your spot at dinner. The service was exceptional."
