"Check in was very efficient and simple. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only thing, we had 4 people in the room with only 3 towels and rags. But we went to front desk and they gave us extra. "

"We look for places where the adults can relax and the cousins can play and just be kids. This property is even better than described. It is in a private and quiet area- except for the tree frog neighbors - and is a lovely home in a scenic location.There were 9 of us, and there was plenty of room inside and out for making great memories. Montgomery is close, but there is so much to do at the house, we only left for church. The host was very responsive and offered great information about the area. He was also very accommodating when car trouble delayed our arrival. After this long weekend, "3 Goldens" just became our preferred destination for Cousin reunions."

"The location itself is beautiful. The photos are a bit misleading. There are actually two homes for rent and the photos don't differentiate which one is which. There is a bigger lodge, and then a smaller house behind it (still a great size). The games must be in the main lodge because our house only had the poker table. The pool was absolutely gorgeous but due to it being near the lake, the pool deck was covered in duck poop (and if you're staying behind the lodge, it's not direct access like photos show). The gueen bed was very comfortable but the king bed in the main suite was awful. The kids loved the bunk room. The towels are old, scratchy and had bleach stains. The showers were lovely but the floors were slimy and the overall cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchen was subpar. We are used to being able to check in on our own with key or code but the host requires to meet in person. She was welcoming and gracious, however after a long drive, we just wanted to crash. She also popped over unannounced because she couldn't find her sunglasses, which if you value your privacy, it was a little unexpected (and at night after dark). The Internet was also spotty. Hate to be a negative nelly but for the nightly price being what it is (750), we were disappointed and wouldn't stay again. "
