"Standout was the staff who were excellent, so helpful and friendly. The room was great. No food available but staff booked us a table at a nearby eatery. Ideal for a short walk to visit the Kelpies. Location is on a trading estate but easy access to road network for onward travel."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Decor needs a freshen up. Stain on carpet, marks on walls and curtains. Issue with toiletries, spoke with staff who were helpful but the lack of toiletries should not affect a guests' stay. "

"The front desk and restaurant staff were amazing and had excellent customer service! They truly made our stay enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very soft, clean, and comfortable. Both rooms had a bathtub/shower but 1 drain was clogged enough to fill above our feet while having a shower. And although it was cold outside, the rooms were very hot and it was difficult to cool them down even with the radiator turned off and windows open. We would stay again as it was a decent price and although we weren’t able to use the spa/pool facilities, they looked fantastic. We did plan to swim but were told our 13 year old child couldn’t swim past 8pm. That didn’t work with our late 7pm arrival. The cleanliness of the hotel and the customer service of staff is why we rated our stay a 4/5. "

"We stayed here as a family as a pitstop on our to visit family in the scottish highlands.Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a wide choice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend."

"We were checking in really late as our flight was a late one coming in. Friendly and lovely guy welcomed us and checked us in. The rooms absolutely surprised me, great amenities, including slippers. Only reason I am not scoring full marks overall is the blinds in the room are flimsy, we struggled getting them properly shut and had to phone for help. Help came quickly and issue sorted, however they do still let the light in. (We would prefer blackout blinds) Also downer was the lady who checked us out did not acknowledge us, we waited about for someone and then when she came through, she went on the phone (sounded like an internal call) before and without even acknowledging our presence. Would have given it a lower review because of that lady, left sour test. Luckily for the hotel they have a great thing going elsewhere. "

"No hangers in wardrobe. Friends who were staying have us some of theirs. Broken window blind lying on floor in room. Both these things reported right away . Asked for change of room but hotel full due to a coach party being in. Employee couldn’t repair blind as fitting broken. Used the throw blanket from bottom of bed to cover window . Disappointing. As blanket thin an outside lights shining in . "
