"Really enjoyed my stay here, was greeted at reception and informed of facilities and also given local takeaway menu as I was hungry, from here we went to 2nd floor room, we took the stairs though there is an elevator (2 people max) after getting unpacked etc we grabbed food and used the kitchen facilities behind lobby. After which we took a short walk to the Kelpies, we were given directions by lovely member of staff. After a great nights sleep I enjoyed a coffee and biscuit from the facilities...

"It's an interesting old building. Decor in my room was dated but bathroom more modern and bed very comfortable. The main restaurant looks a bit Butlins but the food in the bar was excellent on both nights. My second night was ruined by noisy occupants of 206, starting at around 2:30 and they left at around 5:30. Not at all sure they were guests. Had to leave 1 day early and reported the above. No comment. Doubt I will return to Perth but would certainly consider staying here as the location is...

"We had a great 2-night stay here. The staff was very responsive to questions that we had regarding our stay with two small children, and they had a cot set up and ready for us upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choices, and on the second morning they anticipated our arrival in the breakfast area and had a highchair out and ready for us. Great service, very much appreciated!"

"Stayed for one night, room was clean and comfortable. We decided to have our evening meal in the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Menu had plenty of choice and was good value for money. Breakfast was included. Staff were more than helpful! We would definitely stay again"

"This was a last minute booking. We got our room for a very good price even by budget hotel standards. It was a no frills hotel but staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the setting was so peaceful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our dog loved exploring around the race course (not a race day) despite the weather. "

Negatives - No fan in the room and reception unable to provide one. Main bed was very uncomfortable as was the couch bed"
