"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room with no facilities the cost was far too high for what we got as a package Because the hotel was pretty empty of guests it made the 2 nights feel like a horror movie"

"The property is in a quiet and peaceful location. It's a great base for exploring the area, but you will need a car. It is a 5 min drive from Rock where there's a shop, bakery, pub, takeaway pizza, small brewery, and fish and chips. The property has been nicely renovated. Everything has been thought of to make your stay comfortable. There's a hosepipe at the back which is great for cleaning up after a day at the beach. There's a storage chest full of buckets and spaces, body boards, outdoor games etc which my children loved. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you'd need. There isn't a dishwasher but there is a washing machine, which we found really useful. We also appreciated all the storage in the bedrooms for clothes, which can sometimes be lacking in holiday lets. Karla was very quick to respond to any questions.We recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable base to explore the local area. "
